Experimenting with Pika Labs to turn concept art into pre-vis

Concept art made by me using Photoshop. Mostly photocollage and painting with some use of the generative fill tool in photoshop. Car design inspired by Ed Roth.

After some experimentation with prompting I got it to pump this out. I particularly like how it visualized the dust being kicked up behind the car. Of course not of this is ready to go into a final production, but the visuals generated are extremely useful when deciding whether or not a scene is worth approaching or if something else needs to be tried. This one shot probably took 4 hours total. 3 hours for the scene and 1 hour prompting.

Of course I had to share the silly results too. It would frequently try to turn the car into a pixar car which was always a funny treat. I thought this guy was particularly joyful.
